All students who have the goal of graduating either from high school, a technological or professional program must take the Saber Examinations which is a state exam according to the level they are studying: for high school is named Saber 11, Saber TyT for technological programs, and Saber Pro for professional ones.

The score obtained by the students who take these exams determines not only their future, but educational institution’s as well because it ranks schools and universities depending on the scores.

The English module that has seven parts and 55 items in total is common in the three Saber Examinations mentioned above. It is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and assesses students from the level A1 to B2. Other modules are common as well. However, our focus will be on the English one.

As it’s always a good idea to get ready to any exams, an interactive course is being designed to help students get better scores in the English module of Saber Examinations through effective strategies for each of the seven parts.

In this first delivery, we are going to work on part 1.
